Day 50 Meditation

Acts 2:4

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance

Meditation Done By Brother Naquan Braswell

The day of Pentecost was the fulfillment of a promise God made. The holy ghost is the gift promised to every believer. It leads and guides into all truth. The goal of every person should be to not only have the Holy Ghost but to live, walk, pray and worship in its power. It’s not just speaking in tongues; it’s power to stand on the word of God in a world that is following false doctrines and carnal mindsets. So, as we end this fast, ask God for your gift and receive it freely. It will change your life.

Isaiah 11:2

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Mediation Done By Sister Shaquann Braswell

This specific verse is special because it prophetically speaks to the attributes of Christ. Isaiah, a major prophet in the Old Testament foretells the coming and deity of Christ. This scripture tells us that the Spirit of God not only rest on him, but also abides in him. This exemplifies the very gift of the Holy Spirit given to us on the day of Pentecost. Not only does it rest on us, but dwells within us. The indwelling Spirit of God guides us and allows us the grace to grow in becoming more like him. Additionally, God gives us his Spirit without measure, meaning the more we desire, the more he will grant us. As ambassadors of his Grace we must forever stay hungry for the Spirit of God to be activated in our lives. The more of God we seek and the deeper our relationship with Christ grows; the more we become like him. Christ is our bridge to God, and when we fully commit and devote our ways to his perfect will, we can rest having No Fear & All Faith!! Learning to seek and submit to God, shows wisdom and understanding of God’s power and plan for our lives. As we come to an end in this consecration; continue to desire more of him, submit to his will and receive the indwelling of his Spirit that you may forever be Victorious through Christ Jesus!!!

Stay Focused, Stay Encouraged, Stay Blessed

Gratefully, Shaquann Braswell

1 Corinthians 2:9

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Mediation Done By Youth Minister Jacqueline Braithwaite

Jesus Christ is the Lord of glory; a title much too great for any creature. There are many things which people would not do, if they knew the wisdom of God in the magnificent work of redemption. There are things God hath prepared for those that love him, and wait for him. Only if you can imagine what you shall see. Our mortal minds cannot begin to even phantom his glorious plans for our lives.

Jeremiah 29:11

 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Meditation Done By Pastor Judy Neal

Just as a parent thinks about their children and how they want them to succeed in every area of their lives. Our heavenly Father wants the same for us; his children. He has us on his mind and wants to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. How marvelous it is to know we have an mighty, awesome, all powerful God. All things work for our Good, just be patient and let God work his plan for our lives. There’s no way we can plan it any better. Stay in his will!

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and of Good courage, fear not nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee , nor forsake thee.

Meditation Done by Sister Geraldine McClary

Trials may come your way. Things may look bad and the enemy may tell you that you aren’t going to make it. Sometimes doors may close in your face, but don’t give up! That door is closed for a reason. God has a key with your name on it and it will open a brand-new door. God has your back. Don’t panic, don’t be afraid. God will personally go ahead of you.

Psalms 19:1

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Meditation Done by First Lady Linda Braswell

This verse today is letting us know that God is creator of everything. He is infinitely wise, powerful, and good. The heaven above is praising his works. How he hung the sun and moon and stars in the sky. If we commit to our creator, we have the hope of benefiting from his power, the hope of living under his wisdom, the hope of being blessed by his goodness and the enjoyment of his greatness. So, as we go through our daily task I invite you to see the glory of God and be reminded that you are under the care of one who is very great.

Zechariah 4:6

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

Meditation Done by Brother Tony Stutts

We need to understand how important it is for us to listen and pay close attention when God speaks to us. God doesn’t need the strength of men to make him mightier. His power alone is sufficient. Our weakness is no obstacle for the Spirit of God. We become mighty through him. . The spirit is a source of strength. Let us stand confident and STRONG in the power of Him who was raised with ALL power in his hand.

Psalms 30:11

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
