44th Day of Daily Prayer by : Deaconess Leola Wilson

Lord. Please help us to be a witness for you. Let the life we live and the service we give be a living testimony so others can see Christ in us and worship him

44th Day of Meditation Thought by Deaconess Leola Wilson

John 4:28-30

The woman then left her waterpot and went her way into the city.

The women of Samaria met Jesus at Jacob’s Well. We know the story. After talking to him, she perceived that he was a prophet. Jesus told her of all the things she had done. She left her water pots and went into the city to witness to the people. She said, see a man who told me of all the things I ever did, because of her testimony, they came to see, and many of the people believe in him. What it’s saying to us today in this world is that we need to be witnesses to the people we meet. Some people may not go to church, but when we meet them on the streets, the grocery store, in the workplace, that’s our time to witness to them. Tell of the goodness of Jesus and his love.
