Heavenly Father, we bless your name. Father you are an awesome God. Father we thank you for being such a loving God. We come today to say thank you for redeeming and reconciling us back to you. Father God you said in your word that we are full of power through the your Holy Spirit. You have called us to to cry loud, spare not and don’t hold back but, to lift our voices like a trumpet and to tell your people about their sins. Father because of your power we can proclaim your name and for this we are forever thankful. In Jesus name, Amen

32nd Day of Mediation Thought by: Minister Winston Stevenson

Hebrews 8:6

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises”.

This verse talks about a better covenant, which was established through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The original covenant was not good or strong enough to provide for generations.  That old covenant was the law. The law not only made all subject to condemnation for the guilt of sin, but it was also unable to be permanently removed the guilt. The new covenant is an unconditional covenant of grace. It imputes righteousness where there is none.  This all took place by the blood of Jesus Christ for the full remission of sin that was provided for all who believe. Jesus Christ is the better promise because through Christ we can receive eternal life.

30th Day of Mediation Thought by: Sister Octavia Hibbert

Psalms 18:30

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

David was fighting for his life and in the midst of the battle, he remained faithful to God. He had his mind made up and he exercised faith, and trust in God. David watched as God smite and avenge his enemies every time. This verse let us know that God word is always perfect and that the promises of God are sure.  God is alive and he wants us to let him fight our battle for us. We are victorious as conquerors in Christ. So let us sing praises for now and what is to come because deliverance is in the Lord.  Our Goal Never Fail

29th Day of Mediation Thought By: Pastor Steven Braithwaite

2 Peter 1:21

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake  as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

God’s word or His plans did not or will not come by man’s own intellect, but by the holy men of God. These holy men are given the word of God by the Holy Ghost. They are in the place to hear from God and  be used by him.

28th Day of Daily Prayer By: Deacon Vernon Davis

Lord we thank you for today. I pray that my heart would strive to be like you, that my character would reflect you, and that my actions represent you. I pray over my mind. Help me to defeat the lies, the thoughts of insecurity and fear, help me to defeat the enemy. I pray that you would renew my mind and set my eyes on you. Holy Spirit help me to respond bearing your fruit and not from my own selfishness. I ask Lord that you would transform me. May my eyes look upon others with compassion. May my words bring refreshment to others. I pray that I would love and fulfill the needs of those around. I pray in Jesus name, AMEN!

Titus 3:5

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost

The  scripture let us know that of our salvation rests in God’s mercy by him sending His son to die for our sins. God  does not give people eternal life based on what we can or can’t do. God does not take into account who or what we are. He gives mercy regardless of how good or bad we may be. God  cleanses us from our sinful past by the blood of Jesus Christ. He also renews our mind from the old sinful nature. We are saved because of is mercy.
